Succos in Aruba 🇦🇼

This past Succos we spent in Aruba – back on the island for the 2’nd time, and it was honestly an incredible experience. The combination of beautiful beaches, amazing weather, and a strong Yom Tov atmosphere made it something really special for our family.

Where We Stayed

We stayed right around the corner from Chabad at Bocobay Porta al Sole Condos, and it worked out perfect.

It was very nice, and we ended up meeting many other families with kids staying there, so the kids had constant company which made a huge difference for them (and for us 😄).

Chabad Aruba – The Heart of the Trip

Chabad was amazing. The rabbi helped me with ד׳ מינים, which made everything so convenient.

The first night of Yom Tov there were over 100 people from all over the world. It was great meeting people, chatting, and hearing where everyone came from.

The meals and tefilos were uplifting and awesome really strong Yom Tov energy.

Chol Hamoed Adventures

Day 1 – Butterflies, Beach & Sunset

First day Chol Hamoed we started at Aruba Butterfly Farm, which the kids loved seeing all different types of butterflies up close was really special.

From there we went to Eagle Beach, one of the nicest beaches on the island—wide, clean, and perfect for families.

We finished the day at our favorite spot in Aruba for snorkeling and sunset, Tres Trapi Beach. Unreal water, tons of fish, natural caves and the sunsets there are just next level.

At night, Chabad hosted a sushi night great food, great vibes, and a lot of people hanging out.

Day 2 – Relaxed Beach Day

The second day was Friday, so we stayed more local and went to Arashi Beach.

Super beautiful beach and amazing for snorkeling the kids were feeding fish and having the best time.

Later we came back and enjoyed some pool time at our villa.

Shabbos Chol Hamoed

Shabbos at Chabad were great! good food, good vibes, and just a really nice relaxed Yom Tov atmosphere with families.

Day 4 – Underwater Experience

Sunday (4th day Chol Hamoed), we did something really cool, we went on a submarine-style underwater experience where you go down and see marine life all around you.

It literally felt like being inside a live fish tank tons of fish, very fascinating for both us and the kids.

Later we went back to our usual sunset spot near Malmok Boardwalk, right next to Tres Trapi.

At night, Chabad hosted a farbrengen with music and food, really nice energy and a great way to end the day.

Wrapping Up Yom Tov

Erev Yom Tov

On Erev Yom Tov, we did a private boat tour, headed out into the gorgeous blue water, stopped for snorkeling, swimming, and just enjoying the ocean. One of the highlights of the trip.

Second Days Yom Tov

Second days Yom Tov was absolutely beautiful. The dancing, the food, the atmosphere—and yes, the alcohol also 😄.

Lots more families joined, and it turned into a really strong, lively Yom Tov vibe.

Final Thoughts

Succos in Aruba is something special. You get beautiful weather, crystal clear water, amazing beaches and at the same time, a strong Chabad presence that makes Yom Tov feel real and meaningful.

Between the community, the scenery, and the overall relaxed island vibe, it’s a trip we’ll definitely remember and one we’d highly recommend to families looking for a great Yom Tov getaway.
