Kakiat & Mountain Trail Loop
This is a great hike. It is somewhat challenging with a steep incline and a bit of a rock scramble, but kids can manage it as well. It also has three beautiful lookouts with views from the NYC skyline.

While not really a hike, I loved this walk. I did it with a stroller and it was easy enough. It takes you around to different artifacts/historical points with signs explaining the historical significance. There's also…

Kathryn Gorman Ponds Park Trail
A nice path around some ponds right in Montebello. It's more of a stroll than what I'd call a hike, but makes a nice outing if you just need some fresh air and to stretch your…
